I am finally in London after so many months n years of planning. It’s a bit cold here but it’s ok coz my mom had got me a jacket before I came here and I didn’t expect it would come to use so soon. I was considering of getting a jacket here in London instead but luckily I did not wait.
Many of you must be wondering the purpose of my stay here in London.
To further my studies?
The answer is NO.
I am here for a holiday and I am gonna be here for quite a while staying with my boyfriend, Will who is studying here in London. Actually, I am writing this from the library of Imperial College London while I wait for him to discuss some work with his mates. I’m rather lucky coz I am just graduated and I can afford to take some time off for a break before getting into the real working world, and I have a place to stay for free here! HEHE!
September has been our traveling month and thus I’ve been busy traveling with him lately..
We spent one whole week in Singapore just few weeks ago and then we were back in KL for 2 days and traveled again to Penang for a good 3 days and then went straight to Seremban for the weekend and then were back in KL again for a good few days and finally traveled again for the last stop here in London. Phew! Try reading that sentence at one go!
So I’m finally in London and it’s amazing so far! (except I need to start learning how to cook and wash my own clothes). I called my parents few times before ever since I reached here and I could hear how they were missing me so much and were worried about me.. especially my dad! He was worried that Will might mistreat me and that I won’t have proper meals since I can’t cook.. not even frying an egg! =/
We took a 13-hour flight on the much talked about A380 plane.. the Singapore Airlines’ AirBus? It wasn’t as good as I expected, which I shall blog in a different post next time but then the duration of flight was a pain in the arse!
The first thing that I had to buy upon arriving in London was body LOTION! I was told by Will’s mom that we have to put on body lotion everyday after shower and before going out or else we will get really dry and fugly skin, which I had experienced few months ago during my visit to Japan. Will’s mom has been very very kind to me. She is treating me like her own daughter, stuffing me lotsa food and shoving lotsa clothes to me like jackets and mufflers to keep me warm in this weather.
So far I have only been to a few places in London like the Big Ben, London Eye, River Thames, Chinatown and Covent Garden to name a few.. I’ll try to post up the pics soon.. but then I am still in need to write a few other posts like Veet, Geo contact lens, Singapore trip, Penang trip, Seremban trip and etc.
