What about you?
Unfit for Flying

This one is supposed to be my emo pose.

Do I look emo in that photo?

Trying so hard not to curve a smile..

.

.

I went to see the doctor to demand for the reason why I am unfit for flying… and was told that I have a MILD scoliosis.

That’s the ONLY reason why I am unfit..

.

.

.

.

Because flying job requires us to stand a lot and therefore people with scoliosis will have problem in the long-run..

BUT MINE IS SO MILD IT WON’T AFFECT ME!  (I was told again by the doctor himself) RAWR!!

It’s the airlines’ policy, doctor said. Some other airlines would have accepted me because it is under 15 degree but unfortunately for me, this airlines is too strict and it won’t accept a single tiny bit. :(

.

.

Ok bye bye dream job.

Maybe I should try another airlines when there is any openings, but don’t know if I can be so lucky again to get through all the stages and interviews..

Wish me luck!!

I am sorry to hear about the news, how are you doing? It has to be your usual habit means of sitting posture. I have a friend that faced the same problem as well, but I think it would get better if you manage to change your habit.

I am sure you’ll be able to find an airline that willingly to accept you. Worse come to worse, take it positive, it is good for your health. Take good care of yourself.

Hi, Wen PInk, im from the Philippines.. Air Asia went here Mar 5, 2011 and I was lucky enough to pass the Final Interview and I had the Medical Exams just yesterday (Saturday).. I was sooo happy with the results (it was online).. everything was good except for one.. I have MILD scoliosis too… Seems like I also did not make it.. maybe il receive a call stating that i am unfit for flying… right now i am frustrated and depressed because like you, we are thinking that we might not be lucky on the next application. During the screening process we were 700 to 800 aspirants inside Mandarin Hotel. Im hoping that they have changed their policy, I’m still hoping that they get me in…
