YESSSSSS I MADE IT! That’s right, I finally got the dream job!!
FINALLY! AFTER SO MUCH EFFORT!
.
The local 5-star airline has accepted my medical and my cabin crew training will be starting next month. At the mean time, the middle-east’s 5-star airline is still processing my medical report and should be replying within this week.
However, after much careful thoughts, I have decided that I will be joining the local 5-star airline (which hereafter will be referred as “Z“). I have also decided that I would rather play safe and take up the first offer, whether or not that the middle-east’s airline will accept my medical.

And therefore, this post is to pen down my heartiest appreciation to those who have helped or guided or motivated me throughout the whole process of me getting this dream job a success!

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

The most important ones.. my family! My dad had and is still driving me around without fail whenever I needed to get to somewhere for the interviews or medical check-ups! It wasn’t easy.. really.. sometimes we even had to rush to a few different places in one day to get the medical check-up and x-ray done! He even cancelled his appointments just because I needed him to drive me around!
My mom has been really supportive and generous. She has been (and is still) buying me new formal clothes and shoes so I could look better during the interviews 
And thank you for being really supportive about me getting this job despite the fact that you would only see me less because I will be flying a lot.
Not to forget, my big brother who plays a big role in my life. He has been supporting me financially and often gives me money especially when I needed to fork out some money for the medical check-ups. He actually offered to sponsor me T___T I was really touched! Also, his girlfriend who has been really helpful and would really help me out whenever I need it.
My cousin sister Grace who has been really nice and supportive. She even volunteered to be the surety for my contract.. unlike my other cousin sister who has been really harsh on me and gave me bad remarks about cabin crew’s job just because she hated me and wanted to bring me down. It’s not like I don’t know the down sides of the job.. in fact, I KNOW MUCH BETTER THAN YOU!

Next, I ought to thank my boyfriend.. he was the FIRST one to suggest that maybe I should try applying for a cabin crew’s position because of our long-distance relationships. Back then, I dismissed his idea COMPLETELY and thought he was CRAZY for suggesting that a few years ago! LOL!

Also, I must thank my kai jie (god-sister) and her friend for giving me endless guidance and supports. I owe them!
Next, A BIG THANK YOU to Bryan See.. whom without I wouldn’t have even tried out for the low-cost airline. He was the one to inspire and convince me that I have got the potentials as a cabin crew. He was the one to give me enough confidence to step out for my very first interview. Without him, I wouldn’t be who I am today. I owe you, Bryan!
Also.. my dearest sifu Stan Leong, the one I always look for whenever I needed someone to help, and would NEVER fail to be there for me <3 The next time we meet, the meal is on me yea! 
Next, my ex-classmate from uni.. Karen Chua for sharing me all her knowledge and interview experiences. For not being selfish and for all the guidance you have given me.

Also, thank you PinPin for lending me her mom’s Baju Kebaya, which was needed for the first interview for Z Airlines.

Ooohh and I almost forgot, Doctor Kee who ran the very first medical check-up on me. I would like to thank him for suggesting that I should try other airlines as they accept mild cases like mine! Thank you keeping my hopes alive! I called his office the other day, wanting to thank him but was told that he is no longer working there

And to all of you who have motivated/ helped/ guided/ contributed in any sort of ways in making this a success, I couldn’t thank you enough!

hi….i am anthony….after reading ur blog….i jus can say….i have the same problem with u….i am selected by the same company like u…..the “M” company…..but i hav scoliosis….they told me that they will consider about me and will discuss with the doctor and contact me soon….but i wait almost a month…..the others who went for interview with me are called for bonding briefing oledi….i called back to “M” and the man told me tat my case stil in progress and want me to wait….so u think i stil hav the chance?? n may i ask how u know the degree of ur scoliosis?? jus through x ray or??
